Mount Titaroa

Mt Titiroa is a great tramping experience to those who are wanting more of an adventurous challenge involving route finding with a steady and demanding hill climb. However the reward is the stunning views from above surrounded by unique terrain only found on Mt Titiroa. The terrain above the bush line is known for its white granite rock which gives its summit the appearance of lingering snow even throughout the summer months and is clearly visible from far away.

This is a great place to explore the maze of sculpted rocks – a photographers paradise!  You can save yourself time and energy by taking the Manapouri Water Taxi around to the Hope Arm Hut or be picked up after your Mt Titiroa adventure.
