The Freeman Hut can be accessed by our Water Taxi and is approximately a 50min boat ride. The trip leaves Pearl Harbour heading out onto the lake past Stony Point and heading up the main lake past Pomona Island before heading into the North Arm with the hut located at the end of the arm.
Hope Arm offers great fishing and hunting and also serves as the ideal base for accessing further locations such as the Back Valley Hut Tracks or the more challenging snow white clearing & Garnock Burn leading to Mt Titiroa. The hut can offer a great family of group overnight experience and can be accessed by Water taxi drop off or ask us about walk and drop off options.
The Hope Arm Hut can be accessed by our Water Taxi and is approximately a 30min boat ride. The trip leaves Pearl Harbour heading out across the bay before turning toward the Upper Waiau river mouth with the hut located within Shallow Bay.
Stockyard Cove can be accessed by our Water Taxi and is approximately a 30min boat ride. The trip leaves Pearl Harbour heading out onto the lake past Stony Point and past the Holmwood Islands before into the Stockyard Cove.
The Monument can be accessed by our Water Taxi and is approximately a 30min boat ride. The trip leaves Pearl Harbour heading out onto the lake past Stony Point and Mahara Island before into the Rawiri Bay.
