Monument Hill
Monument Hill is located within Hope Arm and offers stunning views of the Hope Arm and Back Valley region and can be accessed via the short but challenging track staring at the beach in Rawiri Bay. The adjacent beach in Rawiri bay is a gorgeous golden sandy beach and can be a great place to soak up the sun and relax or take a swim in the beautiful clear waters of the lake. A Great place to visit for a challenging Family or group adventure.
Please note that due to the challenging nature of this track, it is recommended that it is attempted by competent persons only.
The Monument can be accessed by our Water Taxi and is approximately a 30min boat ride. The trip leaves Pearl Harbour heading out onto the lake past Stony Point and Mahara Island before into the Rawiri Bay.
